"We have been with state farm for 20 years and I had an accident in my truck and was told that I didn't have rental insurance I told him they were mistaken because we just had an accident in the other car and we got a rental for it, They inform me that they couldn't even find where we had originally started the insurance for our vehicles And because it was on the same policy doesn't necessarily mean that both of them have rental insurance. I don't know how that's possible but she informed me that they would not be paying for the rental car and is my responsibility to check my policy every 6 months to make sure it's correct and there is nothing they could do for me I will tell you this much I will never ever use State farm again I've heard other horror stories but until recently I've never had to file a claim when we followed one with the other car it went fine 20 years and there's nothing they could do for me. That's the kind of customer service you can expect"
